Energy efficiency
Twenty percent of the energy consumed by Canadians is related to residential home use. Of this percentage, about 67 percent of the energy is dedicated to heating and air conditioning.

Insulation and ventilation
When the attic is not properly ventilated, humidity is created, causing ice to form along the edges of the roof covering. A well insulated and ventilated roof will limit the loss of heat in the winter and keep the heat out in the summer. This helps to reduce your energy and electricity consumption costs.
